Oxpasture Hall Hotel Review.


What could be better than a hotel serving the most delicious food, with the most luxurious rooms and decorated with tartan check, exposed brickwork and open fires? How about all that AND they welcome dogs?! Yup - Pepper went on holiday last weekend.

Jewellery Box With a Twist.


If you caught my Vintage Love post, you will have read that I bought an old, ornate frame from one of my favourite antiques emporium's Crimple Hall in Harrogate. I wanted the frame to hang my jewellery from as I have so many necklaces that I just shove in a jewellery box after a night out, then spend ridiculous amounts of time and energy untangling them the next time I want to wear one!

Master Tea Cup Candle Making in Four Simple Steps.


Number One.
First things first. You will need to acquire the items that you will need to make the teacup candles. I bought 700g of soy wax flakes, glue dots, pre-waxed wicks and some dye flakes from Amazon and bought a cheap milk pan from Tesco to melt the wax. You will also need something to hold the candle wicks upright whilst the wax is setting - I just used some of our clothes pegs for this.

Eating All The Cake At Songbird Bakery.


So today is the day that the up and coming Bedford Street officially opens another gem of a business - the Songbird Bakery. I was lucky enough to be invited along to a pre-opening event last night along with some other lovely North East bloggers which pleased my sweet tooth no end.
