If you caught my Vintage Love post, you will have read that I bought an old, ornate frame from one of my favourite antiques emporium's Crimple Hall in Harrogate. I wanted the frame to hang my jewellery from as I have so many necklaces that I just shove in a jewellery box after a night out, then spend ridiculous amounts of time and energy untangling them the next time I want to wear one!

First things first. You will need to acquire the items that you will need to make the teacup candles. I bought 700g of soy wax flakes, glue dots, pre-waxed wicks and some dye flakes from Amazon and bought a cheap milk pan from Tesco to melt the wax. You will also need something to hold the candle wicks upright whilst the wax is setting - I just used some of our clothes pegs for this.

So today is the day that the up and coming Bedford Street officially opens another gem of a business - the Songbird Bakery. I was lucky enough to be invited along to a pre-opening event last night along with some other lovely North East bloggers which pleased my sweet tooth no end.
