Homemade Christmas Cards.

So being the MASSIVE geek I am, I decided to make life hard for myself this year and make my own Christmas cards! The thought of scrawling Christmas greetings in what feels like endless amounts (slight exageration - I don't have that many friends..) of generic Christmas cards bores me so I thought I would spice this year's offerings up a bit. To be fair, they didn't turn out half bad...

What do you think?

  2. They are fabulous. I love especially the one with the gifts, the two with the baubles and the paper Christmas tree. Next year you should make extra and sell them!

  3. These are so lovely and it makes it more personal receiving a home made card from someone rather than one that is store bought! I've always wanted to make my own christmas cards and this just convinces me even more as to why I should!

    1. Hey, you should definitely give it a whirl. I just tried to keep them really simple so it was easier to make them look a little bit more professional!

I also got lots of inspiration from Pinterest for designs and what not :)

      Thanks for your lovely comment!

  4. These look great, very professional looking and much more unique and personal. You should definitely write a post for next year on how you made them. I for one, would be interested.

  5. From one crafty Teessider to another ... I just thought I'd mention that my friends run a monthly crafty get-together here: https://www.facebook.com/MiddlesbroughCrop/ and they're always happy to welcome newbies! [I didn't know anyone when I first went ... and that's about 8 years ago now!]

You can bring a friend and your crafty bits and enjoy getting inspiration from looking at what everyone else is doing - and borrowing their tools/ideas! Just thought I'd let you know!

I love crafting and often don't really have that many friends who are as interested in it as me!
I will have a look on the Facebook page now :)
