It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.

I've already done one post on the Christmas decorations we've bought for our first Christmas in the house (see it here) but as I'm feeling so darn festive, I thought I'd treat you to a second one!

This one is more about how we decorated the house, rather than the decorations themselves. We decided to make a big night of it and had a party food tea, drank lots of mulled wine and prosecco and surprisingly managed to decorate the house well in our merry little state.

Here's a looksy - see if you can spot the Schnauzer...

What do you think?

Do you go for a traditional decor or more of a modern look?

  1. Your decorations are just gorgeous - I love the traditional, classic designs myself. It just reminds me of a homely, family Christmas of my childhood! Definitely like the idea of making decorating an occasion - anything involving prosecco is a win for me!

Same for me - I can make anything an event just to add a little prosecco!
The mulled wine was good too, it was the first time we had tried it and it turned out very strong!!

  2. What a gorgeous tree! I have those wee jumpers too - I like that you colour co-ordinated yours, mine are just made from random scraps I had lying around! :)

My boyfriend's Mam made the jumpers - she's so talented, I would never be able to knit those haha!

She colour co-ordinated them so they matched our room too, bless her!
