Top 5 House Buys of 2017.

As I haven't blogged in a long, long while (see my post here if you want to know why), there's a lot that has changed in our house that I haven't posted about.

We're gradually decorating each room and making it our own (we've been in the house two and a half years but we like to take our time!). So for this post, I just wanted to show you some of our favourite house buys from this year. P.s. the photo above has absolutely nothing to do with this post but if you want to see how we painted our stripes bedroom walls, click here

1. Morgan Poster.

We went to the Morgan factory for a tour for Toby's birthday this year and although I didn't think it would be my cup of tea, it was brilliant (I will probably write about it, it was that good). So brilliant we raided the gift shop afterwards and one of our purchases was an A0 Morgan poster. It's massive and it looks amazing, but sourcing a frame for it was a mammoth task! The frame isn't here yet so I haven't been able to take a decent photo.

2. Industrial Light.

We bought this from the lighting shop at Dalton Park. I can't remember how much it was but it was reasonably priced for how cool it is. I love it so much, I've rearranged the whole living room based on this one feature. Here's a similar one from Wayfair.

3. Black & White Prints.

I discovered Desenio earlier this year and this was the result.

I love it. I've got lots more posters sitting in my basket on the website waiting for pay day.

4. Clubman Mini Steering Wheel.

Ok, so this wasn't a 'buy' as such. This is the steering wheel from Toby's Dad's old mini which has been hung on his Mam's kitchen wall for years. We've always admired it and she finally gave in and give us it as one of Toby's birthday presents. P.s. yes - we have a scaffolding board on the wall - post here

5. Skull Prints.

I think I've got an obsession with prints. We bought these in the lighting shop in Dalton Park, frames and all. They look so cool in our newly decorated spare room (post to follow).

If you like those, I've found some similar products on Amazon - that light fitting is calling my name for our kitchen. I can't believe it's only 36 quid...
